Using the calculator

PawCost has no account or registration form. Interactive calculations run in your browser. Share links contain your selected settings and any custom cost amounts, so share only information you are comfortable making visible. Anyone with a link can read those settings. Links may also remain in browser history and ordinary hosting request logs.

Page-view analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits. The app removes query strings and URL fragments from page-view events before sending them, so calculator settings and custom share amounts are excluded from those event URLs. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information for how this service processes usage data.

Planning actions and shopping

Calculator action hooks currently stay in the page for local testing and have no external analytics transport or persistent storage. They accept only controlled page, species and category labels. They exclude searches, custom amounts and personal details. The essentials checklist has no affiliate merchant links or paid placements.

Cookies and hosting

The calculator does not set cookies or store your settings in local storage. Hosting providers may process technical request information needed to deliver the website. This implementation does not include Google Analytics or active AdSense advertising. You can manage browser history and site data through your browser settings.
